Vision Statement
An environment built on safe, healthy educated communities with an on going decrease in the use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs by underage youth. Continued collaborative commitment and effort to further these successes and encourage new ideas in partnership with all San Diego Communities.
Social Advocates for Youth, or SAY San Diego, Inc, is private non profit agency dedicated to supporting the positive development of youth people, their families and communities. SAY’s school and community based services include extended day child care and after school programs for school age children; delinquency, gang, violence, and substance abuse prevention; and ohter youth and family support systems. Beach Pride Formed in 1991, the vision of Beach Pride is for people everywhere who appreciate and value the unique gifts of the beach community to actively participate together for positive change. Beach Pride Aims to: Bring together everyone who cares about the Beach Area. Energize the common vision through embracing diversity. Actualize the vision in a plan for positive change. Center for Community Soulutions, or CCS, is a social change agency creating change and healthy communities with a core emphasis on the treatment and prevention of sexual assault and relationship violence. Programs and services included the Rape Crisis Center, Legal Clinic, Project Safehouse and Next Step Transitional Housing, Clinical Component, Community Education and Outreach and Prevention Programs.

The Linda Vista Health Care Center Multicultural Health Care Promotion Program provides education and outreach to adults and youth in linguistically and culturally diverse neighborhoods. LVHCC focuses efforts in Linda Vista, Mid City and adjacent communities. Outreach and health promotion programs include family planning education, teen pregnancy prevention, HIV/AIDS education and prevention and multicultural health promotion. Healthy Start Military Family Cluster Is a collaborative effort between the school, U.S. Navy, public and private agencies to assist families in Murphy Canyon and Cabrillo Military Family Housing. The mission of the Military Family Cluster is to provide confidential, safe,coordinated servics that will lead to improved academic outcomes for students and a better quality of life for their families. The North Clairmont Coalition is an organization composed of schools, health care organizations, government agencies, community based organizations, local businesses and the faith community. It was formed in 1993 by community leaders who recognized that there is a need in the North Clairmont area to unite, connect and coordinate the resources of the community. Bayside Community Center Serving Linda Vista and Neighboring Communities. Serra Real Connections is a Healthy Start project located on the campus of Serra High School. The program began in 1998. Serra Real Connections has a youth development focus and works with the school and the community to provide support and resources to teens and their families. Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC) The mission of the Union of Pan Asian Communities (UPAC) is to improve the general well being and education of Asian, Pacific Islanders and other ethnic communites of San Diego County.
